Several of the world’s wealthiest individuals gathered at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda today for Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president.
The business leaders present collectively represent more than $12 trillion in market capitalisation and over $1 trillion in personal wealth.
The high-profile attendees included the world’s richest man Elon Musk, LVMH chief Bernard Arnault and media baron Rupert Murdoch, all prominent allies of Trump who rank among the world’s wealthiest billionaires.
Senior executives from major U.S. technology companies including Tesla, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon and Facebook were also present in Washington.
