In September or October, the imposition of green taxation should be expected, according to the Minister of Finance, who wanted to clarify that the new tax will be imposed in the autumn.
“I don’t know why it has crept into public discourse that green taxation will be introduced on April 1st,” said Makis Keravnos, following the Cabinet meeting, noting that there is still time to study the compensatory measures that will accompany the green tax.
