Two people on foot stopped a 20-year-old motorcyclist in Limassol at knifepoint shortly after midnight on Thursday, knocked him to the ground and fled with his motorcycle and cash, according to a complaint he made to police.
The 20-year-old told Limassol CID that he was riding his motorcycle in the Agia Zoni area at about 12.20am when the two blocked his path and, threatening him with a knife, demanded that he hand it over.
When he refused, one of them attacked him and knocked him to the ground, while the other made off on the motorcycle. The first suspect then stole the money the young man had on him and fled on foot.
Limassol CID officers examined the scene and are investigating. Police are looking for the two suspects.
