Temperatures will reach around 32°C inland, 29–30°C along the coast and 22°C in the higher mountains.
Similar conditions are forecast for Monday and Tuesday, with mostly sunny weather across much of the island but a chance of isolated afternoon showers or thunderstorms.
The most significant change is expected on Wednesday, when skies will become mostly cloudy, bringing localised rain and possible isolated thunderstorms to western and northern coastal areas.
Conditions are expected to deteriorate further on Wednesday night, with rain and thunderstorms, particularly across the western half of Cyprus, where downpours could be locally heavy or prolonged.
