Comedian Angelo Tsarouchas brings ‘Diaspora’ to Limassol and Nicosia

Greek-Canadian comedian Angelo Tsarouchas will perform his new stand-up show, ‘Diaspora’, in Limassol on October 16 and Nicosia on October 17. It draws on his Greek heritage and the experience of growing up Greek in the Western world.

Tsarouchas turns the cultural clashes, family dynamics, travels and everyday absurdities of that life into comedy. He explores what it means to belong to more than one culture, and what stays the same wherever life takes you: family, food, identity and the obligation to call your mother.

He performs at the Laniteio Theatre in Limassol on Friday, October 16, and the Strovolos Municipal Theatre in Nicosia on Saturday, October 17, both at 9pm.

Tickets cost 30 euros and are available in advance from ticketmaster.cy. Each performance runs for 60 to 75 minutes with no interval and carries a PG-13 age advisory.
