Authorities have responded to 14 incidents across Cyprus since yesterday as heavy rain and severe weather affected several areas.
According to the Fire Service, six incidents were recorded in Polis Chrysochous and Paphos, involving the pumping of rainwater from underground areas and the clearing of drains to remove accumulated water.
Two incidents were reported in Larnaca, where vehicles stranded because of water accumulating on roads were moved along with their occupants.
A further six incidents were recorded in Famagusta, involving the pumping of rainwater as well as fallen trees and the removal of trees obstructing areas.
