A man who was accompanying an elderly person to a monastery in Kato Drys appears to have been struck by lightning, according to initial information.
The man reportedly lost consciousness and was taken to Larnaca General Hospital. His condition remains unknown at this stage.
Larnaca Police were also informed about the incident, and officers went to the hospital to gather information.
Initial reports indicate that the elderly man who was with the foreign national is in good health.
