“Peace is built not only at the negotiating table, but through the hard work of people creating connections, solving practical issues and strengthening cooperation,” the United Nations in Cyprus said in a post on X, following UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s meeting with the heads of the Technical Committees.
The meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon, in the presence of the negotiators from both sides.
“Today’s exchange with the Technical Committees highlighted the power of inclusive dialogue in advancing peace efforts in Cyprus,” the statement added.
