Voter turnout at the Brussels polling station climbed to 51 per cent by 3:00 p.m. Cyprus time today, with 296 out of 583 registered electors casting their ballots.
This marks the first time that a parliamentary election voting process has been organized in the Belgian capital. The single polling station operating in Belgium opened its doors at 8:00 a.m. local time and is scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m. local time, following a one-hour midday break observed between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The station is housed within the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus to the European Union, located at Avenue de Cortenbergh 61, 1000 Brussels.
