A 22-year-old man was arrested by Paphos CID officers on a court warrant on Wednesday afternoon as part of investigations into arson cases committed in the Paphos district in March and April 2026, police said.
The cases under investigation concern a car arson committed on March 25, 2026, a building arson committed on April 4, 2026, a second car arson committed on April 6, 2026, and an attempted building arson committed on April 15, 2026.
Two other people, a 41-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were arrested in connection with the case on April 15, 2026.
Paphos CID is continuing investigations.
