About the Film
The documentary traces the aftermath of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922) and the Asia Minor Catastrophe. This deeply personal project follows the survival story of the director’s uncle, Anastasis Tosounoglou, and his relatives from Alanya, highlighting how 3,400 refugees found a new home in Cyprus. It is a powerful ode to human resilience (Watch the Trailer: https://bit.ly/sweet-homeland).
