A woman was injured early on Tuesday after her electric scooter collided with a car at a junction in Limassol.
The crash happened at the traffic lights on Nikos Pattichis street, near a car wash.
According to traffic police, the scooter rider was travelling southbound when she turned right at a green light and was struck by a northbound car.
The car’s driver, a 52-year-old woman, tested negative for alcohol and drugs.
An ambulance took the injured woman to Limassol General Hospital. Her condition was not immediately known. Traffic police attended the scene to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
