The discussion surrounding the right to euthanasia is not easy, and everyone’s view is certainly deserving of respect. How each person positions themselves on this issue is purely personal.
However, something positive certainly emerged from the entire parliamentary debate: recognition of the need to strengthen and expedite procedures for palliative care services.
Consequently, discussing even difficult topics as a society produces more positive results than refusing to address them.
