The President of the Republic needn’t have bothered clarifying that the bases in Mari and Paphos belong to the Republic of Cyprus. And I wonder if anyone truly believes we’re not already subservient to the US and that we’ll resist their wishes regarding our bases. We’ll simply do as we’re told.
