At 21:33, firefighters in Limassol responded with two vehicles to a car fire in the parking lot of a reception venue. The vehicle sustained extensive damage, and the fire also spread to half a hectare of dry grass before being extinguished by fire crews. Initial assessments suggest the fire was caused by a mechanical or electrical fault in the vehicle.

At 02:58, the Limassol Fire Service responded to another car fire, this time at a residence. The vehicle, parked in the owner’s yard, suffered significant interior damage. The owner had managed to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived. An investigation into the cause is underway.
