From today, Friday, January 26, until February 9, declarations are being accepted for damages caused by hail on January 22 in potato and vegetable crops in the Xylofagou community.
According to an announcement by the Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment, the Damage Declaration forms for the Revised National Framework are available at the offices of the Larnaca District Agricultural Office, as well as in the section “Plans and Applications.”
Owners, tenants, or managers of affected farms are called upon to submit the properly completed Damage Declaration form no later than February 9 at the Larnaca District Agricultural Office.
It is noted that “in case the beneficiary, due to force majeure, is unable to submit the Damage Declaration within the deadline, it can be submitted through a Representative and, in exceptional cases, via facsimile (FAX) or email. However, in these cases, the original Damage Declaration must be submitted as soon as possible to be considered valid. FAX: 24202867, Email: [email protected].”
