The occupying army in the Deneia region faces new challenges as, according to Deneia community leader Christakis Panayiotou, Turkish forces have initiated construction projects along the boundaries of the buffer zone on the occupied side.
Panayiotou reported that the occupying army seems to be constructing an anti-tank trench, estimated to be four to five meters wide and three to four meters deep.
Speaking to Omega, Panayiotou mentioned that the actions of the occupying army were observed by farmers in the area.
The United Nations and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense have already been informed about the developments, raising concerns over increased tensions in the region.
