Hundreds of Pafos FC supporters flooded Paphos Castle shortly after midnight to welcome the squad home and celebrate the club’s cup victory over Apollon.
Pafos FC won the final 2-0 at GSP Stadium to claim the club’s second cup title, adding to the Cyprus Cup won in 2024 and the league championship in 2025. The win extends one of the most impressive runs in recent Cypriot football.
The city’s seafront came alive with chants, songs, and celebrations that stretched into the early hours. The cup winners arrived on an open-top bus just after 1:00am to a rapturous reception, as the club’s anthem rang out into the night.
