POGO Women’s movement supports the mobilisation of the “United Cyprus” bicommunal initiative and calls on people to turn out in strong numbers, to coincide with the UN Secretary-General’s visit to Cyprus.
Women are uniting their voices to demand a reunified Cyprus and a peaceful homeland, POGO said.
The mobilisation will take place on Tuesday, July 28, at 18:30, at the entrance to the Office of the UN Representative, opposite the University of Nicosia.
At the same time, Turkish Cypriot compatriots will hold a parallel mobilisation on the other side of the Agios Dometios checkpoint.
POGO called on people to raise their voices for a solution, reunification and peace.
