National voter turnout in Cyprus reached 12.8 per cent by 10:00 a.m. today, according to official electoral data.
This morning figure marks a 2.5 percentage point increase compared to the exact same hour during the previous legislative elections in 2021. However, when compared to the 2024 electoral contest, early turnout is down by 1.1 percentage points.
Nicosia currently leads the domestic districts with the highest participation rate at 14.5 per cent, followed closely by Famagusta at 14.3 per cent. Turnout at polling stations located abroad remains low at 4.2 per cent.
