Countrywide voter turnout in Cyprus has reached 32.3 per cent of registered electors, showing a noticeable increase in engagement compared to previous parliamentary elections.
According to official data released by election authorities, the current participation rate stands 6.3 percentage points higher than at the exact same time during the 2021 legislative elections, when turnout hovered at 26 per cent.
Regionally, Nicosia holds the highest participation rate so far at 36.1 per cent, while Limassol reports the lowest domestic turnout at 26.5 per cent. Polling stations operating abroad have recorded a 19.1 per cent turnout up to this point.
