It’s a coincidence that the three Presidents of Cyprus who crossed the White House threshold with an official invitation from an American President were Makarios, Clerides, and Christodoulides.
Again, it’s a coincidence that the three times a British Prime Minister visited Cyprus were during the presidencies of Makarios, Clerides, and now Christodoulides.
I don’t know if there’s anything else that happened only during the presidencies of Makarios and Clerides, so we might know what to expect in the coming period.
