A supreme act of corruption

Outgoing US President Joe Biden has decided to grant his son, Hunter Biden, a full and unconditional pardon for his alleged criminal offences.

The White House announced that President Biden made this decision because the charges against his son were “politically motivated and designed to hurt him politically” (the familiar, repeated line from politicians).

The outgoing President stated that citizens “will understand why a father and a president came to this decision.”

The outgoing US President’s decision constitutes interference with Justice, and this cannot be disputed. It’s clear that such a development in a European state would trigger protests, cause upheaval, and bring down the system.

It would be considered – and rightly so – a matter of collusion and corruption. What is it considered in the USA? And does the incoming President object to Biden’s “flaws” or find them convenient?
