Cyprus’s Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for isolated severe thunderstorms on Saturday, May 23, in force from 11am to 5pm.
The storms are expected to affect mainly inland areas and the mountains. Rainfall intensity is estimated at between 35 and 50 millimetres per hour, and hail is considered possible.
