Three people were hospitalised following an attack by approximately 50 masked individuals at an Omonoia supporters’ club in Lakatamia, police said Monday.

Video footage obtained by philenews shows the attackers, wearing hoods and helmets, fleeing the premises shortly after the Sunday night incident, which occurred around 10:30 pm.

Police spokesperson Kyriaki Lambrianidou confirmed the injured included two men, aged 30 and 33, and a 68-year-old woman who manages the establishment. All three received medical treatment and were later discharged.

About 50 individuals with concealed faces carrying various weapons entered the club and caused extensive damage, Lambrianidou told state television.

Authorities said six people were present inside the facility during the attack. Police are currently evaluating evidence and expect to issue arrest warrants later today.

The incident appears connected to wider disturbances reported before, during and after the Omonia-Apoel derby match at GSP Stadium.
