Customs officers seized undeclared luxury goods worth about €46,000 at Larnaca Airport, the Customs Department said.
Officers acting on information found the goods in the luggage of a Russian couple holding Cypriot citizenship on 7 July 2026.
The passengers, aged 55 and 62, had arrived from Switzerland via France.
Their luggage contained two luxury wristwatches, clothing and footwear with a combined value of about €46,000, which they had failed to declare for the payment of the relevant duties and taxes.
The passengers were fined and charged a total of €5,022 for failing to declare the goods.
