A private car parked in a field in Strovolos, Nicosia, caught fire on Tuesday morning, fire service spokesman Andreas Kettis said.
Two crewed fire engines from Nicosia fire stations responded immediately, and firefighters put out the blaze using water hoses and breathing apparatus.
The cause of the fire is expected to be investigated.
