The heatwave is gone, at least over the next few days, with a relevant Department of Meteorology table indicating sub-40 temperatures, with the capital naturally closest to that threshold, recording a highest of 37, but spared from the suffocating humidity levels of other cities, down to 43%, the lowest in the country.
Humidity at Prodromos was almost 75% and across Limassol and Paphos, over 60%.
