Police mobilised in Limassol on Wednesday morning after receiving information that shots had been fired at a building in the Zakaki area overnight.
According to initial information, the shots appear to have been fired at a building housing a company. The incident came to light on Wednesday morning when workers discovered broken windows and alerted authorities.
Initial examination of the scene indicated that a large number of shots had been fired at the building. Limassol CID attended and is conducting on-site examinations to establish the facts and identify the perpetrators.
As part of the investigation, detectives are expected to retrieve and examine closed-circuit television footage from the area.
