British Bases authorities have asked residents of the area RAF Akrotiri not to be alarmed if they see smoke rising from the base between July 15 and July 17, saying it will be the result of a training exercise.
According to the bases, Defence Fire and Rescue will be conducting key training using its new Aircraft Simulator during this period.
RAF Akrotiri thanked the public for its understanding.
