A protest in support of Palestinians has been announced for Saturday, 16:00 at Eleftheria Square in Nicosia.
The protest is organised by the group ‘United for Palestine – Cyprus’, with the event circulating in social media.
In its announcement, the group stated:
“Masses of people around the world are showing they will not give up on the fight for Palestine to be free. We need to keep up momentum.
Join us to demand an end to the genocide and that the Cypriot government cut diplomatic and economic ties with Israel, which has now murdered over 10,000 Palestinians in Gaza.”
