A 30-year-old probationary police officer has been arrested and placed in custody in connection with an investigation into the illegal possession of anabolic substances.
Police searched his home in Nicosia under a court warrant before making the arrest. Officers found and seized 69 vials that appear to contain anabolic substances.
The Police Chief has ordered proceedings to place the officer on suspension.
