President Christodoulides will travel to London on Monday for his first bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The leaders are set to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues with a focus on the Middle East, and the Cyprus problem, according to Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis.
The meeting, scheduled for 1645 GMT at 10 Downing Street, comes at a time of improved relations between the two countries, Letymbiotis said in a statement.
Discussions are expected to cover humanitarian aid efforts in the Middle East, including the Amalthea maritime corridor initiative to provide assistance to Gaza and the Estia plan, which has involved close UK-Cyprus coordination.
Christodoulides will brief Starmer on the recent MED9 Summit held in Cyprus, which addressed the regional situation and potential de-escalation measures.
The Cypriot president will also update the British premier on developments in the Cyprus issue, ahead of a joint meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 15 October in New York.
