Police are alerting motorists as landslides have occurred on several roads following rainfall from Storm Byron.
According to police, landslides of rocks and soil masses are affecting traffic on the roads Kalo Chorio Oreinis–Gourri, Gourri–Lazania, Lazania–Machairas, Kalopanagiotis–Moutoullas, Pedoulas–Prodromos, Prodromos–Lemythou, Kakopetria–Pinewood–Pedoulas, Kakopetria–Karvouna, and Kykkou–Pedoulas–Kambos.
The rest of the road network does not present any particular problems, a related announcement said.
Severe weather conditions continue across the island.
Police urge motorists, particularly those travelling on motorways, to be extremely careful, drive at low speeds, maintain safe distances from vehicles ahead, and keep their headlights on.
