Cyprus police conducted a new operation against poaching this morning in Agios Theodoros, Larnaca, using members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (MMAD).
Officers searched a fenced field where they found an individual collecting wild birds from installed trapping nets.
During the search, police seized seven installed nets containing 26 live wild birds, as well as four additional nets stored in bags.
Officers also discovered seven dead wild birds, two sound-producing devices, four speakers, and various other items linked to poaching activities.
