Around 10 incidents linked to severe weather have been reported so far in Nicosia district, with emergency services receiving numerous calls for assistance.
Initial information indicates that the incidents include fallen trees and objects, fires in open areas caused by lightning strikes, as well as sparking electrical cables that in some cases started fires.
