The weather on Sunday is expected to be mostly clear, with increased local cloudiness to develop at times, mainly after midday, according to the department of meteorology.

Winds will blow light at 3 Beaufort initially, gradually becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily reaching moderate to strong, locally strong, at 4 to 5 Beaufort along the coast in the afternoon.

The sea will be generally smooth to slight in the morning, becoming slight along windward coasts by the afternoon.

Temperatures will reach a high of around 39 degrees inland, around 30 degrees on the west coast, around 34 degrees on the rest of the coasts, and around 29 degrees in the mountainous areas.

Sunday night is expected to see locally increased low clouds temporarily, mainly along the coast, while later, and in the early morning hours, light fog is expected to form mainly in eastern and inland areas.

Winds are expected to weaken Sunday night, blowing at 3 Beaufort. The sea will generally become smooth to slight, though it will remain slight locally in the west.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, weather across most of the island will be mainly clear with temporarily increased local cloud, though isolated rain cannot be ruled out in the mountains after midday.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through Wednesday, remaining slightly above seasonal norms.
