Firefighters battled an extensive blaze that broke out shortly before midnight in a residential property in the Apostolos Pavlos neighbourhood of central Paphos.
Emergency services had to force entry into the property to extinguish the fire, which caused significant damage to the building.
Initial investigations point to an electrical short circuit as the likely cause, though examinations are continuing today.
The property owners were not at home when the incident occurred.
