The number of infants hospitalised with measles at Makarios Hospital has increased, with another 14-month-old girl admitted yesterday afternoon, bringing the total to four cases.
According to philenews sources, all the children—aged 13, 14, 16, and 17 months—attended the same day care centre. Medical officials described their condition as stable.

In a separate development at the same facility, a 6-month-old boy is being treated for bacterial meningitis. Hospital officials described his condition as serious but stable and no longer life-threatening.
