A 35-year-old man has been admitted to hospital with severe heatstroke-related symptoms, health officials said on Thursday.
The man is in critical condition in the ICU, they added. He is intubated and receiving intensive care.
However, two women, aged 67 and 80, who were hospitalised with heatstroke have been discharged. A 25-year-old woman who was admitted at the same time remains hospitalised.
The three individuals were among several people who suffered heatstroke during the ongoing heatwave in Cyprus.
