Limassol Municipality opens registration for the 2026 carnival parade from Tuesday, 11 November. Those interested can register carnival groups and floats for the city’s biggest celebration.
According to a municipality announcement, registration will be accepted from 8:00 to 14:00, only for those who participated in the 2025 carnival parade and followed all regulations.
Those who participated in the 2025 parade but violated regulations, as well as new participants, can register from Wednesday, 12 November, whilst the final registration day is Friday, 12 December at 13:00.
Anyone wishing to participate with a float or walking group in the main parade must visit the Cultural Services offices at 253 Agiou Andreou Street (tel. 25745919) to complete the special registration form and receive information about this year’s terms and regulations.
Limassol Municipality clarifies it does not accept registrations electronically or by phone, “nor participations with sports or other themes whose costumes are simply gym shorts with a vest”.
