Kilometre-long queues have formed on the Larnaca–Limassol motorway due to police traffic management measures ahead of the informal EU foreign ministers’ Gymnich summit taking place in Limassol today, motorists have reported to Phileleftheros.

Police announced yesterday that traffic on the Nicosia–Limassol motorway and in Limassol city would be affected. Restrictions are in place from 7am to 9am on both the Nicosia–Limassol motorway and the bypass road leading to Limassol New Port. Further restrictions will apply between 3pm and 5pm.

Drivers are urged to be patient, exercise particular caution, and follow the instructions of police officers stationed at various points along the route.
