Firefighters freed a person whose foot became trapped in a manual tiller at an orchard in the “Makrinari” area of Kapileiо, Limassol district, on Monday morning.
The Fire Service received the call at 10:55 and dispatched rescue teams and vehicles from the Agios Ioannis Lochias Vasilis Krokos and Moniatis Rural fire stations.
Firefighters removed the rotary blades of the tiller to free the trapped foot. The injured person was then handed over to the ambulance service and taken to the A&E department of Limassol General Hospital for treatment.
