Immediately after the sudden war in Israel, the Cypriot Police have been taking emergency security measures at potential targets in Cyprus since this morning.
Police spokesman Christos Andreou told Philenews that as soon as the attack on Israel became known, instructions were given by the Chief of Police to take additional security measures for Israeli interests in Cyprus.
The extraordinary security measures concern both the Israeli embassy and other premises throughout Cyprus.
At the same time, according to our information, increased security measures are also being taken for other potential targets of foreign interests.
