Seasonal low pressure combined with an unstable air mass is affecting the island, offering a temporary reprieve from persistent high temperatures.

Initial low cloud cover will increase after midday, with cloud development over inland, mountain, and eastern regions expected to trigger localized rainfall and isolated thunderstorms, with hail likely to fall during storm activity. Winds will blow mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, temporarily strengthening to 4 to 5 Beaufort along coastal areas during the afternoon. Sea conditions will remain slightly rough.

Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach around 37 degrees Celsius inland, 30 degrees along the western coast, 34 degrees on the remaining coasts, and 28 degrees across the higher mountain peaks.

Overnight, localized cloud cover will persist, with isolated showers potentially developing along western areas. Patchy light fog is expected to form during the early morning hours, particularly across inland and southeastern districts. Winds will shift northwesterly to northeasterly, weak at 3 Beaufort, over up to slightly rough seas. Overnight lows will dip to around 23 degrees Celsius inland and along the coast, and 16 degrees in the higher mountains.
