Cyprus will enjoy mainly clear skies on Friday, with high cloud expected to increase gradually at intervals during the day, the Met Office said.
Winds will initially be variable and light at force 3, shifting to predominantly north-easterly to south-easterly — and south-westerly to north-westerly in the west — at force 3 to 4 by the afternoon.
Temperatures will reach around 28°C inland, 26°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 24°C on the western and northern coasts, and around 17°C in the higher mountain areas.
Saturday will also be mainly clear, though some increased mid-level cloud is expected in the morning. Sunday and Monday will remain predominantly sunny with only patchy high cloud at times.
Temperatures will rise on Saturday and remain broadly stable through to Monday, staying above the seasonal climatological average.
