An 18-year-old driver was arrested after being caught speeding at 195 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway early Friday morning.
The teenager was detected by a speed trap near the Latsia weighing station around 1:30 a.m..
Officers arrested the young driver shortly after and transported both him and his vehicle to Pera Chorio Police Station.
The 18-year-old was later released after signing a guarantor document to appear before Nicosia District Court on April 22.
