Police arrested a 33-year-old man on Thursday evening after he was caught driving at 186 kilometres per hour on the Kofinou-Larnaca motorway while over three times the legal alcohol limit.
Traffic police stopped the driver at around 8:30 p.m., who then failed a breathalyser test with readings of 77 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 micrograms.
