There are numerous reports to the ‘Action Team for Animals’ of the Ecologist Movement (Green Party) that cats are constantly disappearing from various areas of Cyprus.
As the Ecologist Movement notes in its announcement, many animal lovers who care for cats, as well as cat owners, are concerned, as the disappearance of cats is unjustified. There are many so-called-coincidences and the number of cats that go missing is vast, which causes great concern.
“We appeal to the help of the sensitive and animal-loving public. We appeal to anyone who has noticed anything suspicious or knows anything, to inform the nearest police station or to contact the Action Team for Animals of Ecologists at: 99677819,” the announcement concludes.
