Local fog will clear this Saturday morning, giving way to mostly clear conditions, although increased cloud is expected locally. Clouds developing around midday and into the afternoon could bring isolated rain, mainly over the mountains and eastern areas of the island.
Winds will blow mainly south-westerly to westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually strengthening to 5 Beaufort on windward coasts and up to 6 Beaufort, very strong, on the south-eastern coast. The sea will be slight to moderate, and temporarily rough on windward coasts.
Temperatures will reach around 34 degrees inland, around 30 on the south-western and western coasts, around 32 on the remaining coasts, and around 25 degrees over the higher mountains.
On Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear, though clouds developing around midday and into the afternoon could again bring isolated rain, mainly over the mountains and eastern areas.
Monday and Tuesday will be mostly clear.
Temperatures on Sunday will show no significant change, remaining below average climatological values. By Tuesday, however, a noticeable rise in temperature is expected, bringing values above the seasonal average.
